KPEM Does Disney Part 5

So after the race the plan was to just spend the afternoon relaxing.  After all we had gotten up way too early and ran 13.1 miles.  But I guess we were just too keyed up.  I tried napping but couldn't.  So Matt and I decided to head over to Epcot to walk "around the world."

We had lunch at the counter service restaurant in Morocco.  It was interesting.  Not our favorite but fun to try something different.
We then just did a little wondering around.  I had fun with the Downton stuff in England.
And with the phone booth.  I loved wearing my medal because everyone told me congratulations!
We even got to meet a few fun characters and do a little shopping for the kids.

We had dinner at a new restaurant - The Wave which is inside the Contemporary.  It was good.  The food was really good.  The service was just so so.  The best part was the dessert!
After dinner we headed over to the Magic Kingdom.  It was extra magic hours so we pretty much had the park to ourselves.  It was great.  We rode ride and got to do lots of fun things.  Like meet some our favorite princesses!  I was excited to meet Rapunzel.

We did Enchanted Tales with Belle which is awesome!!  I just love the experience and can't wait to take Kate back to it.  I got to be Belle's father Maurice.

We finished off the night with some Dole Whips and a walk down Main Street.  At this point we had been awake for almost 22 hours so it was time to get some sleep!!

Our flight didn't leave until later on Monday so we had some more time.  We hit a few more rides at Magic Kingdom.  It was Paige's birthday so she enjoyed a funnel cake!  By this point we were all ready to get home to see our babies!

It was such a great trip.  I am so thankful for the opportunity to have some time away with Matt and friends to just relax.  I can't wait to take the kids back soon!!!
