A New Soccer Season

Ben started up a new soccer season a few weeks ago. He is playing at the local park which is so nice. It is just 2 minutes from our house and he gets to play with friends and neighbors. Last night they had a game and I was able to get lots of fun pictures.

He likes being #4 since he is 4 years old.

He has a great coach that is really teaching them all about soccer. The kids are so cute. They got to name their own team. 1/2 the team wanted to be the grapes. 1/2 the team wanted to be the sharks and Ben wanted to be the polar bears. So the coach compromised and named them the Grape Polar Sharks. Then they got their uniforms and they were gold so they changed their name to the Golden Polar Sharks. It is quite a mouthful!

Ben's best buddy Evan is on the team so that means Kate has Addy to play with during games. They have so much fun together. Last night they got into the team snacks a little early!

Ben is not the most aggressive player out there. He is sort of like his mama and daddy an pretty passive. Last night he did a little better and did a good job of running and keeping up with the action. We will work on getting in there and making some plays next!
