Sheldon & Homework

Ok before I start I just have to say Miss Kate was looking so cute today! She is finally letting me do pigtails in her hair and I am loving the new fall clothes! One of our favorite shows to watch is "Big Bang Theory." It is really funny about nerds (which we sort of are). Anyway one of the characters on the show is Sheldon and he has all sorts of quirks. One of the biggest is that he has to sit in the exact same spot to watch TV every time. I am afraid we have a Sheldon at our house. Kate has to sit in the same spot anytime she is watching TV. Today when she woke up from her nap I brought her into the living room to watch Arthur with Ben and I set her down on the opposite end of the sofa from "her spot." She threw a royal fit and walked down to her spot and settled in. It is too funny.
One of the things about pre-K is that they have homework a couple of times a week. It is nothing they have to turn in but just extra work for them to do at home to practice what they are learning in class. Ben loves to do homework! I need to record him saying "I love homework" so I can play it back for him in a few years. He is so serious doing it.

I think he likes showing us what he is learning and doing. I am no good at teaching him and helping him with the homework. There is no way I could ever be a teacher or home school! It stresses me out too much! I am so proud of how well he is doing.
