Kate went for her dentist visit on Wednesday. She did awesome!!! She got x-rays and her teeth cleaned. Much better than most kids her age. She got a great report.

How old is Kate? I brought my first born at the dentist during her 5th year and he did very well too. It's nice to hear parents talking about their child's first experiences. I hope she can read these posts in the future. :)

I'm glad her first dental visit went great! I was quite nervous about bringing my own toddler to the dentist for the first time, but we had a fantastic dentist who knew his way around children, and my toddler ended up enjoying the experience.
Aww, Kate sounds like a real trooper! I hope she had a fun experience at the clinic. It's best for them to get comfortable with dentists while they're young so that they don't develop a fear in the future.
Susan Horby Great job Kate. It is rare to see such a positive experience both from the results and behaviour from a toddler, never mind first visit. Good job mum. This should take a little weight off so that you will not be anxious for follow on visits.

Great to hear how well behaved Kate was at her dentist appointment! Far better than most kids her age -- congrats! I am also glad to hear that her teeth are in tip top shape! Excellent to hear a great report card, exactly what you want to hear from the dentist. Hope it goes just as well next time!
