We had a great weekend that kicked of Saturday morning with a trip to Oz. Our local high school is putting on the Wizard of Oz this year for their musical. They had a wonderful breakfast with the characters on Saturday morning. It was so much fun! The kids have never seen Wizard of Oz but they really got into the fun characters.
Dorothy carried around a real dog all morning. The kids loved petting it.
The characters were awesome! So interactive and interesting. The kids loved talking.
Ben's favorite was the tin man.
They also had face painting and crafts which the kids loved!
Kate's favorite was Dorothy of course!
I guess it is leftover from seeing Wicked in NYC but the bad witch was my favorite!
Our friends the McClures were also there so the kids enjoyed seeing them.
It was such a fun morning. We are all looking forward to going and seeing the musical in a few weeks!
