Friday night we checked a few more things off of our "Summer List of Fun." We started off by going to the local little snocone shack. I remember going to get snocones in the summer growing up. They have the same flavors so it was really fun to share that with the kids. Ben got Batman flavor and Kate got pink lemonade (my favorite).
After finishing off the snocones, we headed out to a dark spot in "the country." We loaded down the back of the truck with blankets and pillows and did some star gazing. We got to see the first star of the night come out. The kids had so much fun watching the stars pop up.
It was amazing just to stare up at the sky and see God's glory. Each of those stars was put into place by Him. He holds them in place just like He holds us. It was a much needed time for all of us! It was the perfect evening!
