Ok so we actually built a gingerbread village. We waited a little late to buy a gingerbread kit so all that was left was the village kits (and they were broken). So today we attempted the gingerbread house. The kids were very excited and didn't really like waiting through the building part. 
But once the decorating part started they were happy to jump in and help. Ben did an amazing job and loved coming up with cool decorations for it.
Kate mainly just snuck candy!
We had lots of fun decorating!
The village turned out really cute (better than I expected with a 2 year old and 4 year old)! The kids had a blast and were really proud of the village.
