Last night we went to a get together of the team members Matt went to Rwanda with. It was great to get to meet them all and hear more about their special trip. In honor of the get together Kate wore her African dress that Matt brought back for her. It is so gorgeous! Africa New Life Ministries teaches sewing classes for women so they can learn skills to create a better life for themselves and their families. This is one of the dresses made by those women. Such a special meaning. I thought she looked so cute in her little dress. It fit perfectly.
My mom recently found a dress that her grandmother made for her when she was little back in the '50's (sorry mom I guess I just told how old you are). It is the sweetest little dress! I put it on Kate today and she looks so cute!! It is perfect for Easter since it has little chicks on it. Not many little girls get to wear 50 year old dresses made by their great-great grandmothers.
