Today is all about the bathrooms. I have a few to show - 5 to be exact. I really don't know why our house has 5 bathrooms. It is just a lot to clean if you ask me! We don't really use 2 of the bathrooms but I know as the kids get older we will enjoy having them.
My favorite bathroom is the one in our master. It is so calming in tans and blues.
When we were looking for a house the number 1 must have on our list was separate vanities. Not just 2 sinks. It must be 2 vanities. I really don't know if our marriage would have survived without it! I love my vanity area because I have a place to sit down and dry my hair and put on make up!Matt's vanity is pretty boring but it is not anywhere near mine!
We never use our tub. Really I think you could count on 1 hand the number of times that we have used it. It is really nice though. I love the pictures over the tub because they are from our different travels over the years. We try to pick up a sketch at each place we go.
The shower does get a lot of use!
The kids bathroom is a lot of fun! I looked all over to find bathroom stuff that would work well for a boy and a girl. I loved this one from Pottery Barn Kids.
The kids love the animals and fun colors.
Right off of our living room we have a 1/2 bath. It is pretty small but perfect for guests to use when they are over. I call it our vacation bathroom. We have black and white pictures of places we have been on vacation in it.
There is also this shadow box with fun memories from our Europe trip. I love seeing it and thinking about what a great trip we had!
The last couple of bathrooms are pretty boring and very rarely get used. This one is right off of our guest room. It is great when we have guests but that is not all that often. The stuff in the bathroom is leftovers from our days of living in apartments.
I do suspect that it won't be long until the kids get tired of sharing a bathroom and one of them will move to this bathroom!
Upstairs off of the playroom we have another bathroom. I didn't know if it would get a lot of use but surprisingly it does when the kids are up there playing. It sure is nice to not have to go downstairs when they have to "go." I know as the kids get older and we have more kids over to "hang out" this bathroom will really come in handy. I really haven't done much in here except hang a shower curtain. I don't think anyone has ever even used the shower. You can see pictures I need to hang on the wall.
Those are our 5 bathrooms. If anyone likes to clean bathrooms and wants to give me a hand I would love to have you!

Pretty baths Emily! Love the color of your master & powder room. The kids bath is so fun & cheerful - I bet they love it!
I love the fun-ness of the kids' bathrooms. And as someone who has only one bathroom (including just ONE toilet) in their entire house, count your (bathroom!) blessings :)
Can you tell I'm behind on reading the SUYL posts? And I'm interested (or obsessed!) enough to want to read every single one?!?!
