So on Friday night Matt and I had a little night out to go to a work Christmas party for him. Each year one of his co-workers has a party and to say that it is amazing would be an understatement. There really are no words to describe what we experienced. The house is huge!!!! I don't know if I have ever been in a house so big and grand.
And it is over the top decorated for Christmas. I mean every sqaure inch of the house has Christmas decorations. They are beautiful. This is the view from the second floor looking down into the main living room. Beautiful! We lost count on the number of trees but we think there were over 30 trees throughout the house. Each one had a different theme. One of the cutest was in the bathtub. It had rubber ducks and bath stuff all over it.
The food was super yummy and so pretty.
The entire foyer was decorated in a gingerbread theme. I think it was my favorite.
Then there was the outside. I don't think I can even describe it. This was the pool. And there were even more statues of angels all around. It was insane.
And a silly one of Matt and I goofing off in the "thrones" by the fireplace.
It was a lot of fun just to see all the decorations. We are hoping to take the kids back to see it all.
A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord— and he will delight in the fear of the Lord.
He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist. Isaiah 11:1-5
