We Did It!!!

So I mentioned several weeks back that I started running with my neighbor.  When she brought up the idea I thought she was crazy and there was no way I thought we could do it.  But I was so wrong!!  Today we finished week 8, the last one, of Ease Into 5K.  Yes we did it!  Today we ran for 30 minutes and almost 3 miles.  For two girls who just a few weeks ago couldn't run 100 yards this is huge!!  It has actually been a lot of fun and I am proud of what we have accomplished.  We are actually running in a 5K next Saturday.  Can't wait go see how that goes. 

 

I can't believe I am posting this picture but here is what I looked like after finishing this morning.  I look horrible but I wanted to document that I did it!
