Crazy Saturday

Over the past couple of weeks we got several invitations to different events and they were all falling on the same day - May 11th.  I knew it was turning into a crazy day.  It is just that time of year when there are so many different events going on.  All great and fun things but just makes life busy.  We started the day off with a ball game.  Then it was off to Kate's friend Addy's 4th birthday.  It was a fun princess party at a local park.  The kids had so much fun.  Matt and I had to leave the birthday party early to head to a wedding.  One of the guys that Matt went to Rwanda with was getting married.  It was great to be able to go and celebrate with them.  It was a beautiful wedding!!  The pastor that gave the homily did an amazing job.  Matt and I laughed saying we should have took notes.  The reception was out in a big field by a barn at the church.  The weather was perfect.  We had a great time.  

 The food was wonderful.  Don't these cakes look awesome!  It was a very relaxed barn type feel.  It was really neat.

 They had a great band with fun music for dancing.  We had a great time.

 After the wedding, we were off to a graduation party.  Matt's cousin Madison is graduating from high school so we joined family and friends to celebrate her.  The party was lots of fun.  The kids really enjoyed the magician.  We all had fun in the photo booth.

 We are really excited for Madison because she is headed to Auburn in the fall.  Matt is the only person in his family who has ever gone to Auburn.  He is considered somewhat of a black sheep.  So he is excited to finally have someone else on his side!

It was such a fun day.  We all fell into bed after it was all over!  It is just the time of year when things are crazy but so great as well!
