Since Friday was Kate's last day of Pre K, it also meant we had to say good-bye to Mayfair. MCDC has been such a big part of our lives for the past 4 years so it was a hard good-bye. I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that I won't be doing there everyday.
I think what we will miss most is these sweet ladies giving our kiddos hugs every morning and afternoon. They wait to greet every child as the come in the door. We love Mrs. Lori and Mrs. Norma. They are amazing!!! I didn't think it was possible for someone not in our family to love our kiddos as much as they do. We are also going to miss Mrs. Jenerick so much!! She is an awesome Pre K teacher that both Ben and Kate were privileged to have. She taught them both so much and prepared them so well for kindergarten.
We celebrated the last day with the annual picnic. These sweet girls have been together for the past 4 years. I am not sure how they are going to make it without each other. I didn't know it was possible for such little people to be such good friends from such a young age but they showed me how much friendship means even to little ones.
Kate's favorite part of the day was the bouncy house.
Or was in the snowcone? So thankful Kate and Perry got to be in school together this year. It was so sweet to see them interact in the hall and at chapel.
BFFS for life!!
Sweet Mr. Ben. He loved these girls so well along with all the teachers.
I'm not going to lie. A few tears were shed as we gave our last hugs and left. Mayfair will always hold a special place in our heart.
To celebrate, we went to lunch with Kaylee and Ashley at BuenaVista. We have been meeting in their parking lot for the last 2 years every morning for carpool so we figured it was a great way to end the year.
Sad good-byes always mean there are exciting new beginnings coming. We are so excited about our next adventure of having 2 elementary aged kids. We are no longer a preschool family!!
