Sweet Baby Kate has had a rough few weeks. She has had a bad upset tummy on and off for about 5 weeks now. It has been rough - 3 clothes changes a day, dehydration, projectile vomit and the list goes on and on. It all started about the time that I weaned her. So we were pretty sure we were dealing with a milk intolerance. I finally took her to the doctor today and he was pretty concerned. She has lost weight (and she didn't have any to loose). So we are going milk free. Soy it is for her. Hopefully this will help her get better and very quickly. She just hasn't been herself the last few weeks.
This was actually her very first sick visit. She made it 2 weeks shy of her birthday without having to go to the doctor. Pretty good and healthy I would say.
I got this picture of the sad little girl yesterday before church. I thought it was so sweet.

Just wanted to let you know that many that have milk trouble also have soy trouble so be on the look out. I hope she gets to feeling better!
oh poor Kate! I'm sorry! Hopefully the soy will work out! Anna has a dairy intolerance too but does well with almond and coconut milks if you want to switch things out.
Poor Kate! Is the switch working out? We have the red dye allergy and, when first diagnosed, I could not believe how much of what we ate had either that or Annatto in it...changed all of our ways quite a bit! Hang in there...trial and error can take time but clear answers will be worthwhile!
