Birthday Weekend Extravaganza

So I turned the big 34 on Sunday!  Always exciting to have another year of life.  Thankful for the blessings of the past year.  Since my birthday was on Sunday, I got to enjoy an entire weekend of fun and celebrating.

On Saturday morning, Paige and I got up and headed out to run the Rudolph Run.  We haven't done much training the last couple of months but it was good to get out and run/walk.  We went to breakfast afterwards to celebrate my birthday.
The rest of Saturday was pretty low key.  Matt and I went to a Christmas party for his St. Jude clinic that night so the kids spent the night at my parent's house.  It was nice to get to sleep in on my birthday!  After church we went to Mezza Luna with the whole family for brunch!  It was the perfect birthday treat.
After brunch, we came back to open presents.  The kids were so excited because they got me a gift card to a local spa!
I just love these 2 people and am so thankful they are my parents!!
I got to take a nap all afternoon (because that is the best thing to do on your birthday).  Then it was time for the 2nd annual WEC (Wright, Eckley, Cabra) Christmas party.  We started the tradition last year and had a blast so of course it had to continue.  We had fun party food (my favorite).  The kids did some ornament crafts.
Matt got me this awesome birthday cake to go along with the spanish cake theme we had going.

Then it was time for some Quelf!!  The craziest game ever.  There were some insane things done.  I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time.
Brad may have had to wear lipstick.
I may have had to do some crazy cheers while wearing a Viagra tie.
It was a perfect evening with friends!

So thankful to get to spend my birthday with the people that mean the most to me.  Excited to see what year 35 holds in store!!
