Christmas Shopping

I just love Christmas shopping!! Really I do! There is nothing more fun than trying to pick out that perfect gift for someone you love. Each year one of our favorite shopping trips is when we go buy special gifts for kids in need. We love doing the Operation Christmas Child boxes. It is such an easy way to make a huge difference in the life of a child somewhere in the world. So last night we went shopping. This year we let Ben pick out things for our sponsored child in Rwanda and Kate filled a shoe box. The shopping trip was so much fun! The kids had a blast picking out the perfect things to go in their boxes. It was fun for them to think of things that they liked that they could share.

We came home and packed up our boxes. They were full of some really fun things. We pray that the children that get them know we love them and are praying for them.

We were especially excited to pack up the box for Safari! It will be so much fun to hear what he thinks of the gifts we got him.

My prayer is also that Ben and Kate have giving hearts. That they understand that God calls us to live a different lifestyle than others around us. Our goal is not to see how much we can get but to see how much we can give in Jesus' name.
