Kate at 2!!

I know I say this a lot but I cannot believe I am writing Kate's 2 year post! What happened to the last year. Here are a few things Kate is up to at 2...

• You have the biggest personality of any 2 year old I know! There is not a single down minute with you. You are always on the go. You love to laugh and make others laugh. Your smile can light up the room. Your strong personality comes out at times and we know that you are 2. When you know what you want you know!! There are days with lots of fits and crying but most of the time you are so sweet!



• You continue to be a great eater. Really there isn't much you don't like. Some of your favorite foods are yogurt, cheese, chicken nuggets, fruit and anything sweet. You love snack time especially when it is fruit snacks.



• You have become quite the talker putting 3-4 words together at a time. You love to practice new words and will say just about anything. You also love to sing. Some of your favorite songs are Jesus Loves Me, Hallelujah - Your Love Makes Me Sing, Poker Face and Friday. One of our favorite things to hear you do is pray. You thank God for your friends and family. It is so sweet.



• You love to play. Some of your favorite toys are your doll house, anything related to baby dolls, any of Ben's toys (that really aggravates him) and kitchen. You are quite the "little mommy" when playing with your dolls. You take such good care of them. Your nurturing personality shines through even when you play. You adore anything related to princesses and Minnie Mouse. Ariel is your favorite princess. You love to watch TV and movies. Arthur, Sesame Street and Phineas & Ferb are some of your favorite shows. You are very proficient at using the iPhone and love to play games and watch movies on it.



• You really enjoy going to church and school. There are some separation issues at time but overall you do very well. You love playing with your friends. Some of your best friends are Addy, Isaac and Kaylee. Ben is your best friend of course. You adore him. He is the best big brother to you and you guys always have a wonderful time together.



• We don't know all of your growth stats. You haven't been to the doctor since your 15 month check up. You are going next week so we will see how you have grown. You have really grown recently. You are getting so tall and moving from the baby stage into the toddler. You have stayed really well in the past year only struggling with your allergies anytime the weather changes.



• You are learning new things everyday! It amazes us what all you know. You can count to 10 and know most of your colors and shapes. You love animals and reading books. It is so fun to watch you absorb everything in the world around you learning new things daily. We feel so blessed to have been given these past 2 years with Kate. It has been an amazing adventure to say the least. When I think back to her birth and how sick she was I see God's hand. And over the past 2 years I have see God's hand continue to be on her and guiding her. I can't wait to see the little girl she becomes as God continues to mold and make her as He desires. We feel honored to be chosen as her parents! We love you baby girl!! Happy Birthday!!!!
