A Day Game

We got home yesterday afternoon from an amazing weekend in Auburn.  It was a fun time of celebrating and remembering.  We left after Ben's tball game on Friday night so we didn't get to Lafayette until really late.  We were up early on Saturday morning to make the quick drive over to Auburn.  Nothing like seeing this sign!!!  It really is my favorite place.  

We went over to the new arena to get our tickets.  We of course had to check out the fan experience and get a photo with the crystal ball trophy 

We were thankful to meet up with the Smiths because they helped us get a great parking spot.  It was great to get to see Jamye, Steve and Morgan.  We had a yummy lunch at Mike & Ed's BBQ.  The girls had so much fun hanging out together.

We then took the fun walk down College Street towards the stadium.  Had to stop and pet the tiger.

We also made a stop by Auburn Art to put our thumbprints on the tree print.  What a fun idea of a way to show our "family spirit."

We got to the stadium and the line was so long to get in!!!  It was crazy!!!  They were not expecting so many people to be there.  They had said they weren't going to open the upper deck but there was no seating in the lower deck by the time we got there so we had to head on up!

I couldn't tell you very much about the actual A Day game.  I really wasn't paying attention.  Too busy talking and taking in the great atmosphere.

 About halfway through the game we realized we were sitting just a few rows away from the Wrights so they came and joined us.  The girls loved it!

 We made it through the third quarter and decided to then make the hike down the ramp.

 We went over to the new student union and enjoyed a snack that gave us much needed energy.

We were then ready for the big activity of the day...  Rolling the trees!!  It was quite an adventure!!
