Caribbean Cruise 2013 - Days 7 & 8

We were all exhausted after 4 days of being on the go.  Everyone slept in until about 9:00 am on Saturday.  It was great.  The kids slept amazing the whole trip.  We went to a late breakfast.  Ben was excited to get more bacon.  I really think he ate his weight in bacon all week.
We enjoyed some down time in the morning.  Ben loves playing 5 Crowns so we played a few rounds. So excited he is old enough to play games with us.
Then it was time for the pool.  The kids had so much fun all week on the slides and playing with other kids.

While the kids played I read a book.  I always enjoy some time to relax and read.  Matt went to a juggling workshop.  How fun is that?

Yummy!!!  A fun outdoor buffet lunch by the pool.  Doesn't get much better than that.
The kids had a fun room service dinner.  I mean how much fun is eating dinner while watching cartoons on the bed.
Ben went to kids club and we got to hang out around the ship with Kate until hers started.  She is such a silly girl!

It was the day before Easter so we got to meet the Easter bunny.
Matt and I enjoyed the finale show which was great.  We really enjoyed Norwegian Cruise Line.  We have been on several cruises and this one was one of our favorites.  The stops were great.  We were amazed by the entertainment and the staff.  The food was not the best but that's ok.  It was overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Norwegian.
I didn't do the best job of taking lots of pictures on the trip.  Like I totally forgot until the last night to take a picture of our room.  Here it is!  All 142 square feet of it.  It actually worked out great for us.  We found places for everything and we made it work.  The kids loved taking turns on the bunk beds.  The bathroom was actually a really good size.  Biggest we have ever had on a cruise.
Sunday morning we were up early and off the ship.  It was easy to get off and we were quickly in our car and on our way home.
We couldn't be in New Orleans and not get some beingnets.  We made a quick stop at Cafe Du Monde on our way out of town!!  So yummy!!  Perfect Easter morning breakfast.

We made great time on the way home and were at our door by 4:00 pm.  A good end to an amazing trip.  It really was a trip of a lifetime!!  We had fun on the cruise and with all the great experiences.  The best part of it was just getting to be together as a family for 8 whole days.  Just the 4 of us having fun!!  That is the best!!!
