On Friday the ship docked early in Cozumel Mexico. I had been to Mexico back in 1999. They have the most beautiful water!! I was excited for Matt and the kids to see it.
We did a little wondering around Cozumel and some shopping. It was an interesting experience with the very zealous shop keepers.
Love this picture of Kate!
After lunch we got aboard our Fury Catamaran for a fun adventure of snorkeling and some beach fun.
The boat ride was lots of fun!
Then it was time to get on the snorkel gear.
And jump in the water!
It was Ben and Kate's first time to snorkel. Kate just swam around. Ben did do a little snorkeling.
I won't bore you with lots of underwater pictures. We didn't see very much. It was not the best snorkeling but it was perfect for the kids first experience.
Kate rode around on Matt's back while he snorkeled. She loved it.
Family snorkel picture.
Then it was back on the boat to head over to a beach adventure.
The beach was awesome because they had all sorts of gain inflatables on the water which the kids loved!! We did some trampoline jumping.
And some really tall water slides!
It was a little overcast but it didn't rain. We spent the whole time in the water anyway!
Here are some of the fun inflatables. It was a blast! Lots of hard swimming and climbing.
This was our boat.
We have never been late returning to the ship but our excursion ran over so we were 30 minutes past boarding time. Thankfully they didn't leave us. We had to run and get ready for dinner because we had a reservation at the Japanese specialty restaurant. Norwegian Cruise Line has some amazing specialty restaurants. We chose the Japanese one since Ben loves teppenyaki food. It was AMAZING!!! The best food ever! We had a lot of the fun at the restaurant.
Ben loved the green tea cake with ginger ice cream. It looked really gross but did taste pretty good.
The kids were dying to head over to kids club. It was pirate night!
The kids were excited about the towel monkey. Our cabin steward was awesome!! Nothing better than having someone clean up after you all week. He was so sweet to the kids.
What a fun day we had in Cozumel. We were sad to see the cruise winding down but were excited for one last day on the boat.
