Big Boy Haircut

The last couple of days have been crazy!! We have been super busy. Just lots of fun things going on that have kept us busy. It has been great! Can't wait to update on all that has been going on.

Yesterday my sweet little man got a haircut. That is nothing unusual as he gets them every couple of months. The difference was how much he got cut. We had been noticing over the last few months that he was losing his curls. They weren't the tight ringlet curls any more. The hair that is growing in from the roots is really straight as well. It's probably a combination of things. The weather is not hot and humid which leads to curls. He is getting older and we knew it would happen sometime.

So at his hair appointment I was talking to the hairdresser and we decided to go shorter than usual. He usually just gets a little trim to leave the curls but since they weren't looking so good and he was looking straggly we just went for it. He looks great! It is different. He looks more grown up. It is hard not seeing the curls but it is the "new Ben." I am hoping the curls will come back some this summer if we let it grow out some. And don't worry his hair still has tons of body and wave and a few curls!!
