Catching Up

With all of the Christmas and New Years posts I haven't been blogging about what we have been up to the last week or so. I thought I would combine it all into 1 post to get caught up. We have had a wonderful last week. Matt was able to take a full week off which was wonderful. It has been so great to have the kiddos off from school. We have been having fun sleeping late and just being lazy. Don't get me wrong I am excited for school to start back on Thursday but it has been great to have them off! We have had so much family time that we have all enjoyed. Here is what we have been up to...

Kate has been having some awesome tea parties!! Or lemonade parties because she prefers to serve lemonade. We had to do some major rearranging in her room to fit all her new things in. It is really cute and makes me really excited to get started on her big girl room.
We celebrated Aunt Kelly's birthday. The kids and I headed down to Auburn for a couple of days to visit with GG and Great Mema. They had so much fun at GG's house. She of course had a bunch of presents for them! She got them each Disney gift cards to buy things on our trips! We are so excited to get to spend them!!Matt had to work New Year's Eve and Day so we didn't do anything very special to ring in the new year. We did enjoy watching the Auburn game! Don't know what team that was out there but it was great to end the year with a big Auburn win!Ben and Daddy have been busy putting together lots of Lego sets! They have been having so much fun. It has been so great to just get to play with toys and relax! We got to spend a fun afternoon with the Wrights to celebrate Christmas with them. It is always great to spend time with them! Paige and Kate had a great time together. It has been so much fun. I am sad to see it all come to an end. We got all the Christmas decorations put up and the house feels so empty. What a special time of year it was.

Family fun is the BEST! Glad yall enjoyed some time off. We are going to Disney in Feb. My parents are treating us to 5 days in the parks. Since they are being generous with that, we want to give the kids souvenir spending money. Love the gift card idea. Where do you purchase those? We have much research and planning to do!!
