Getting In the Zone

So this weekend has been a little weird. It is now less than 24 hours until the BIG (make that HUGE) game. I think the anticipation is about to kill me. I am just ready for it to be over. And also we have a huge snow storm headed our way. They are predicting 6-8 inches of snow which is just crazy!! We haven't had that much snow here in over 20 years. So needless to say that is a big deal. The whole city is shutting down in anticipation of the snow. Some of you up north maybe laughing but you have to understand that we have 2 snowplows in our city so it takes a while to clear the snow when it does fall. Not really sure what tomorrow will bring. Unfortunately Matt has to go to work no matter if the roads are closed so that really stinks!

We had a really low key weekend with everything that was going on. I guess the calm before the storms!! Friday night we had a game night with my family which was lots of fun. Ben had been begging to go to Rosies for several weeks so we got to eat there. Wonderful as always. Saturday we made the dreaded trek to the grocery store. When they predict any snow (even just a dusting) everyone in the city runs to the grocery store to buy bread and milk. It was crazy but we survived!! Saturday was really low key. We enjoyed just being at home. This morning we enjoyed going to church. It was the first time we had all been in 4 weeks so it was great. This afternoon I went and did a little shopping (nothing like going to the outdoor mall right before a snow storm).

We enjoyed the time this weekend just "getting into the zone" as we have called it! We are trying to prep ourselves for the game!! All week both Matt and Ben have worn Auburn clothes or Auburn colors everyday. Just part of the prep. We are going to be that "12th man." Going to do our part to make sure they win!!
Lots to write about over the next few days I am sure....

Though we bleed crimson around here, I will cheer for the SEC tomorrow night...sure hope everyone in the state has power so we can all watch!
What happened to the link on your blog to send lymphoma home-a? I don't know them but have followed the blog of both stories (Ryan and Grayson) and prayed for them for over a year...it was gone tonight! :(
